Dr. Jen Peer Rich

Dr Jen Peer Rich: was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer at just six months of age. She began a fraught journey of transformation long before she was old enough to comprehend its significance. She would go on to survive trauma, institutionalization, and addiction, before transcending these obstacles through education, the loving support of her family, and healing in nature. Despite chronic health issues, Jen now lives a dynamic, purposeful life as a disabled, neurodivergent scholar, advocate, author, and speaker, committed to studying our deepest inner landscapes and their constant evolution. Jen has a master’s degree in Transpersonal Ecopsychology and completed doctoral studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her beloved wife Iris and daughter Frannie, in a house-turned-art studio filled with books and light, wagging tails, and good cooking. More at jenpeerrich.com

Dr. Sally Adnams Jones

Dr Sally Adnams Jones: is a mother, grandmother, and integrally informed expressive arts therapist, transformative educator, creativity coach, author and artist, living on Vancouver Island, Canada. She was raised in apartheid South Africa, and so was politicized from a young age around trauma, power dynamics and privilege. Through her arts training in theater, creative writing and visual art, and her Phd in how people transform through accessing their creativity, she explored how people empower themselves through finding their gifts, story, and their voice.  She then applied this pioneering understanding both within clinical settings, and with marginalized indigenous communities in Canada and Africa. Her book “Art-Making with Refugees and survivors: Creative Responses to Trauma after Natural Disasters, War and other Crises “ has been recommended to all Art Teachers by the US Art Education Journal.
